Your profile details are visible only to you. We never sell your data. We never share your personal information with advertisers or third parties. The only thing we ever share is what you explicitly choose to share — like a wish list link you send to family and friends.
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use GiftSwift, we store the profile information you add — interests, wish lists, and event details. We use this information only to make GiftSwift work for you.
GiftSwift uses AI to generate gift suggestions and profile summaries. Your profile information is used only to generate suggestions for the people you choose. It is never shared with anyone else, and AI suggestions never reveal your personal details.
To protect GiftSwift from spam and bots, we use Cloudflare Turnstile on our registration form. Turnstile runs a brief invisible security check when you sign up. It may collect technical signals such as your IP address, browser type, and device information solely to verify you are a real person. We send emails when someone RSVPs to your party, when a birthday reminder is due, or when you request a thank you note draft. We do not send marketing emails. You can adjust email preferences in your account settings.
